A register office wedding, right in the heart of Cannock
Laura and Owen got married at Cannock Register Office, in the Civic Centre on Beecroft Road. Their ceremony was in the Jack Holston Room, a bright, intimate room with tall windows, just right for a close group of family and friends.
Laura arrived in a cream vintage VW camper van, complete with bunting and a ribbon on the front. Owen and his groomsmen wore navy suits with cream ties, and Laura carried a big bouquet of white roses.
Afterwards, everyone headed a few minutes up the road to The Premier Suite in Cannock town centre, for a floral cake arch, giant light-up Mr & Mrs letters and a proper party.
Bunting, roses and a VW camper
The camper van pulled up outside the Civic Suite with Laura inside, bunting strung across the windows and her bouquet of white roses in her lap. A few photos by the van, a deep breath, then it was time to head in.
In the Jack Holston Room
Owen and his groomsmen were waiting at the front of the room, grinning. Laura walked in to a room of smiling faces, and the ceremony was relaxed, warm and full of laughs. Rings, a first kiss, signing the register, and out as husband and wife.
Greenery, sunshine and the camper
We found some lovely spots right around the Civic Centre: the hedges and trees for a few quiet portraits, then back to the camper van for some fun ones, inside and out.
A party at The Premier Suite
The Premier Suite was all set for them, with a mirrored welcome sign, a wedding day newspaper on the tables, a floral cake arch with a neon Mr & Mrs sign and giant light-up letters. Later on, Laura changed into a second dress for the evening.
